Experienced Native English Teacher

Hongik University Elementary School is looking for an experienced native English teacher. Our school is a private elementary school which is affiliated with the Seoul Ministry of Education and located near Hongik University station on Line 2. 1. Basic Information about the Position

• Location: Seongmisan-ro 51, Mapo-gu, Seoul (Hongik University Elementary School)
• Job Type: Full–time
• Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm from Monday to Friday
• Teaching Hours: under 18 teaching hours per week (40 minute class)

2. Benefits

• Salary: 2.5 Million KRW (The salary will increase by 100,000 KRW each year.)
• Housing Allowance: 500,000 KRW /month (No deposit provided from school)
• National Medical Insurance : 50/50 split
• National Pension: contribution 50/50 split

3. Requirements

• A native speaker of English who has at least a Bachelor’s degree (Education, English or Linguistics are preferred)
• Currently working and living in Korea
• One year or more teaching experience in Korea
• TEFL/TESOL Certification
• Applicants from the following countries: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland

• 4) A copy of ARC for those who are residing in Korea
• 5) A letter of release for those who are employed currently
• 6) A Career certificate (experience proof)
• 7) Health checkup (recent health check record including TBPE)
