Responsible for teaching and supporting 7th ~ 12th grade students in a prestigious boarding middle and high school. Students are dual language students with fluency in English writing and speaking.

CheongShim International Academy is seeking a qualified teacher for the following subject:

– Social Science/ English and English Literature : 1 teacher(Full-time job)

Eligibility:

*One of the following conditions:

– Nationality of English spoken countries ( United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Republic of South Africa )

– Korean resident abroad

– Bilingual(English and Korean)

Job posting and Application period : December. 21. 2023 ~ Jan. 5. 2024

Compensation includes:

1. Annual salary(before taxes) : About KRW 38,000,000~40,000,000

(Depending on the academic background and teaching experience; negotiable)

2. Health Care and National Pension are covered.

3. Overtime pay for after-school programs (100,000 won per hour)

4. Degree: Bachelor’s degree or higher (master’s degree will be given preference.)

5. Contract period : March 1 2024 ~ February 28 2025 (Possibility of Renewing contract based on the result of Evaluation Considering the 2024 Curriculum)

Requirement/Job description

– Teaching in 3 week-ENGLISH CAMP at least once a year( summer or winter vacation) (3.4million won is paid aside from regular salary)

* English camp is not currently operated due to COVID-19, but it will be held if the situation improves.

– Duty hours: 08:00 ~ 17:00 (Monday ~Friday)

– Capable of teaching subjects in English

– Majoring in the relevant subject

– CSIA may not hire any applicant who has grounds for being disqualified for employment under Korean law

Required Document:

– Criminal history record (must be approved by home country)

– Diploma and degree(s) (must be apostiled and notarized within the valid date)

– Visa

– Valid passport

– A recommendation letter

* Necessary documents for visa application are required. (including criminal history record apostilled (within the validity date) and a college diploma apostilled and notarized)

Free dormitory housing (with a private bathroom) and meals(3 meals during school days) are provided free of charge.(Family members are not allowed to live in the dormitory).

40 minutes drive from Seoul
