We’ve running one on one adults teaching since 2000 and is seeking intelligent, articulate, and professional individuals to join our team of teachers for an early March 2025 start. With over two decades of experience in education, we take pride in fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

Nearly half of our 18 onsite teachers have been with us for many years, with some approaching a decade of service. Become part of our dedicated and motivated team! Mavens Language Center is seeking intelligent, well-spoken, and professional individuals to join our team of teachers. We are looking to hire for early March 2025 start. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team of 18 onsite teachers.

 

LOCATION: Central of Seoul

CONTRACT START
One  Part-Time position: March 2025

One Full-Time position:  May and September 2025

Position Details for All Positions:
• Business English and Adult English Teaching
• 25-Minute One-on-One Classes
• Minimal Prep Time (Professional Training System)
• (Even for PT) Visa Sponsored, Severance Pay, National Pension, and Health Insurance
• One or Two Saturday per Month, though this can be negotiated. Saturday Class: 6 Hours
• Salary is Fixed (It will not change if you teach fewer classes or if a student is absent)

*PART-TIME POSITION* (Most likely, start at 6 pm and end at 10 pm)
• 1.9~2.0 or more million won a month (+ 2 Sat)
• 6 days of Paid vacation
• Average 3 – 3.5 teaching hours.

*FULL-TIME POSITION* 
• 3.0~3.30 million won a month
• 11 days of Paid vacation
• Average 6.0~7.0 teaching hours.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE POSITIONS
1. Native English speakers with a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university in a Native English-speaking country.
– University Degree (notarized and authenticated with Apostille)
– Criminal Background Check (notarized and authenticated with Apostille)
2. At least one year of teaching experience
3. Valid Passport from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom
4. Professional demeanor and appearance, comfortable interacting with older Korean professionals
5. 20 hours of paid training are required before starting work.
6. We strongly prefer to hire teachers who are in Korea and have already worked in Korea.
