Qualifications
KIS seeks qualified candidates with diverse state or national certifications/licenses in early childhood, elementary, or secondary education.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject and required relevant certifications
Relevant experience in classroom instruction and assessment
No visa assistance provided: successful applicants must have an F-visa or be a local hired person
Preferred:
Minimum of two years experience working as a teacher in an accredited school setting (WASC, CIS)
Experience teaching to an international student population
Training and experience in working with second language learners
Experience facilitating advisory sessions, grade levels teams, as well as participating in afterschool activities and clubs (not required for the role, but having experience is an asset and helpful to the role)
Contract Terms
On-call substitute teaching rate is 150,000KRW/day.

Foster and maintain a caring, inclusive learning environment for all students and work on progressive discipline models aligned with KIS core values
Promote the school’s culture of safeguarding, abides by the Adult Code of Conduct and acts as a mandatory reporter of safeguarding issues
