JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Music responsible for leading and enhancing the music programme from Early Years to Year 13, ensuring a comprehensive curriculum that fosters students’ musical development across various genres and styles. All students study music from Early Years to Year 9, opting for CIE IGCSE and IBDP Music in the High School. This role involves designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, coordinating ensemble groups, and directing performances that showcase student talent. The director also collaborates with faculty to integrate music education into the broader curriculum and organises events such as concerts, competitions, and festivals, creating opportunities for students to perform and connect with the wider community. Additionally, the director advocates for the importance of music education, promoting creativity and cultural appreciation among students from diverse backgrounds.
