The substitute teacher will take over a regular teacher’s classroom duties when the regular teacher is absent. The primary role is to maintain a productive and safe learning environment by following the established lesson plans and classroom procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to build rapport with students quickly. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting students’ intellectual, emotional, and social growth and preparing them for success in a globalized world. This position requires upholding DIS’s commitment to child safeguarding. All staff are expected to contribute to a safe and supportive environment for children and are responsible for reporting any concerns about a child’s well-being to our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
