Accounting Department Overview

Dwight Seoul is currently hiring for a Senior Accountant position. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, internationally-minded educational environment. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting, fluency in both Korean and English, and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with AICPA certificate is preferred
• Over 5 years of professional experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in an international or multinational working environment is preferred
• Proficiency in ERP system and Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in both spoken and written Korean and English is required

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the school’s daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, and banking transactions. This role also supports the Finance Controller in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, internal and external audits, and compliance with school policies and relevant regulations. Additionally, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of the school’s financial systems.
