Dulwich College Seoul seeks a dedicated and skilled Year 1 Teacher for a maternity leave/substitute position. Full-time position from Jan 17th, 2025, to June 27th, 2025. The ideal candidate is a creative, confident early childhood teacher who is an expert at managing and motivating young learners.
Work Schedule:
• 5 days per week (Mon to Fri) during College term time, minimum hours 7.45am to 4.45pm (occasional late afternoon/evening/weekend events as per the College calendar).
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective teaching to a class of twenty-two 5–6-year-olds.
• Plan, assess, and manage the classroom and outdoor learning environments.
• Provide excellent pastoral care and support the personal development of each student.
Reporting to: Head of Year / Head of Primary School
Requirements:
• Must be highly organized and adaptable educator who collaborates effectively.
• Fluent in English.
• Must hold a B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible to work in Korea.
