JOB SUMMARY:
The Head of Educational Technology and Innovation is a new position within the College, timed to support the exciting expansion of the school buildings to incorporate two brand-new innovation hubs – one for Primary School and one for Senior School, due for completion in July 2026. The successful applicant will work closely with our Director of Technology to design the physical spaces, and the written curriculum that will support their effective use across all year groups, staff and the wider community.
The Head of Educational Technology and Innovation will provide support to the Head of Schools by providing both visionary and pragmatic leadership to support the instructional and administrative technologies for each school. S/he will administer and facilitate technology-rich teaching and learning and guide collaborative curricula innovation, including the strategic leadership of the College’s integration of AI. S/he will be committed to creating student learning experiences aligned to STEAM, design thinking, entrepreneurship and/or ISTE standards.
The role of Head of Educational Technology and Innovation will require the person to be an innovative and dynamic leader, an excellent communicator and an accomplished driver of change. S/he must be able to effectively motivate, challenge and inspire individual staff commitment, while identifying strengths and areas of opportunity for growth. The position will be based in the Innovation Hubs and drive the learning experiences available to students and teachers.
