Ansan is the newest campus to be added into the Saint Paul American Scholars family – joining Gwanggyo, Bundang, and Dongtan. The Ansan Campus is a wonderful opportunity for an administrator to build a program from the ground up, using the SPAS-established systems to lead the school to a full K-12 offering to students in the area. The total capacity for this school will develop over time but range up to 400 students in total. Ansan will be supported by the Scholars Leadership Team – Head of School, General Manager, and School Principal – who have been working with the school continuously as it has grown over the last decade. As we celebrate the SPAS 10-year anniversary, Ansan will be our newest achievement – and we are seeking a talented administrator to lead that way.
Position: Dean of Students
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Dean of Students. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to student life at our school.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
– Ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff
– Knowledgeable about current trends in education
– Proficient with Google Suite

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1) Develops policies/procedures regarding student conduct/discipline.
2) Oversees attendance records/attendance policy.
3) Coordinates activities/events outside regular classroom instruction (e.g., assemblies).
4) Provides support services for students experiencing academic/personal difficulties.
5) Works closely with teachers/administrators on issues affecting student performance/behavior.
6) Maintains accurate records/documentation on all matters pertaining to student discipline/performance.
7) Communicates regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress/concerns.
