Full-Time Teaching Position at Hansung University
Hansung University in Seoul, South Korea, is seeking a well-qualified, responsible native English-speaking instructor. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position in the Department of General English Education.
Position Details
- Contract Period: 1 year (renewable).
- Teaching Obligation: A minimum of 15 lecture hours per week. Instructors may also be required to teach non-credit enrichment classes, handle class-related extra activities, provide student counseling, and participate in committee work and faculty meetings. Teaching summer or winter school classes may also be required.
- Payment: ₩2,800,000 KRW per month (before tax). Allowances for medical insurance and private school annuity will be provided. Extra work will be compensated.
- Housing: Free housing may be available if there is a vacant school house. Otherwise, a housing subsidy of ₩300,000 KRW will be paid monthly.
- Vacation: Two months of paid vacation per semester.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or higher.
- A minimum of two years of university-level teaching experience.
- Candidates with a Master’s in language education or TESOL specialists are preferred.
