Teaching Professor/ SMU TESOL/ Graduate School of TESOL /Sookmyung Women’s University
Sookmyung TESOL is looking for teacher educators to fill Teaching Professor positions in its SMU-TESOL and YL (Young Learner) TESOL programs. Successful applicants will be expected to teach 14 hours per week and to diversify as needed.
Teaching Professor, SMU-TESOL
Length of contract: Full-time annual contract
Requirements
Qualified candidates will exhibit the following:
Required:
- Master’s degree or higher in TESOL or a closely related field
- Extensive, recent experience teaching English to young learners or adults
- Advanced proficiency with digital literacies and AI based Edu Tech
Preferred:
- Prior experience training pre-service and/or in-service teachers of English
Salary and Benefits
- Starting salary – 3 million won
- Housing stipend
- Approximately 10 weeks of paid vacation annually
- Shared (two faculty) office with two computers
